La hora de Obama

Tras una intervención de Al Gore, casi una hora antes de la intervención estelear, y a Joe Biden, que triunfó con el discurso de ayer, la convención ha dejado la última media hora a ciudadanos normales, edad, género, procedencia distintas, razas variadas, posiciones políticas distintas (abundan los exrepublicanos), de situaciones personales y económicas diferentes, lo que llamaríamos el «americano medio», con apariencia descuidada y discursos medidos. Es una gran idea, que transmite el mensaje con mucha credibilidad y va al corazón del América. Congratulations!!!!

El mensaje se repite: «no podemos permitirnos cuatro años más de lo mismo» y el cambio y la esperanza, más lo primero que lo segundo.

Se va acercando el turno de Obama, aumenta la expectación y la curiosidad. El estadio repleto impresiona y la música de Bruce (Born in the USA, que ya utilizó Reagan) parece dirigida a los 30 millones de americanos que están en este momento frente a la televisión, esperando al Candidato demócrata.

Bien hecho

Ya se ha difundido el texto del mensaje de Mccain a Obama durante su nominación: Well done.

«Senator Obama, this is truly a good day for America. Too often the achievements of our opponents go unnoticed. So I wanted to stop and say, congratulations. How perfect that your nomination would come on this historic day. Tomorrow, we’ll be back at it. But tonight Senator, job well done.»

Se empieza a notar la Convención

El tracking de Gallup empieza a reflejar el rebote de la Convención. Ayer, en una encuesta que tenía en cuenta el discurso de la mujer de Obama, Michelle, la encuesta mostraba una ventaja de 2 puntos del candidato demócrata. Hoy, en una encuesta que refleja la intervención de Hillary y su llamada a la unidad, le otorga 6 puntos de ventaja (48-42)

El video del día: Mando a distancia

No es fácil lanzar un video diario, pero la campaña de Mccain lo está consiguiendo, manteniendo un nivel de creatividad y sorpresa interesante y sin abandonar la línea del mensaje: Barack Obama no está preparado para ser Presidente.

Esta vez lo han hecho con un video mucho más largo de lo normal, un minuto y medio, que denuncia la inexperiencia de Obama y su tendencia a los grandes discursos, mientras la vida pasa. En la pantalla se suceden dramáticas imágenes de Georgia mientras en una ventanita se suceden las críticas a Obama…. hasta la sorpresa final.

Y ya están anunciando que durante la intervención de Obama empezarán a emitir en los swing States un nuevo anuncio, que causará sensación, la única pista es que el candidato hablará directamente a la cámara y se dirigirá a Obama… habrá que esperar.
